Why does Katalyst recommend only 3x per week for strength workouts?Updated 5 months ago

Katalyst activates all major muscle groups of the body in each 20-minute workout. This intense workout trains agonist, antagonist, and deeper-lying muscles simultaneously in a continuous 4-second impulse / 4-second rest pattern. Throughout the workout, this leads to 10 minutes of net time under tension for all major muscles in the body. Traditional strength training focuses on specific muscle groups, not every muscle group at once.

After intense exercise, the body needs at least 48 hours to recover and be ready for a new training strain, as described in the training principle of Supercompensation. Giving the body 48-72 hours to recover leads to a maximum of 2-3 strength or power sessions per week.
