The chest pads are not working. What should I do?Updated 6 months ago
We have a few tips that can make a big difference in how the vest fits and the chest connects. If the chest pads have a hard time making a solid connection to the muscles, please follow the below steps.
When putting on the vest:
1. Be sure you are not wearing undergarments beneath the base layer. The base layer is designed to be directly in contact with the skin to provide maximum efficacy.
2. Start with all straps completely loose, including the shoulder straps.
3. Give the vest a tug at the bottom to pull it toward the hips.
4. Tighten the bottom side straps, closest to the hip, first, working your way up, making sure to fully tighten all four side straps on each side.
5. End with tightening the shoulder straps. Finish by folding the extra fabric at the shoulder forward and flush against the chest rather than backward. This technique allows the vest to sit low in the correct position on the body without rising up
Applying extra water to these pads can also help in making a successful connection.
